Carmona macrophylla - Fukien tea bonsai 20B

 Carmona macrophylla straight trunk bonsai in a 20cm bowl. The original habitat of the borage tree is Southeast Asia and South China. It has dark green, shiny, oval, pear-shaped leaves that can be said to be a very decorative plant. The trunk is light brown, almost smooth, with small bumps. From its tiny white flowers, green berries develop, which ripen to red.
Heat-demanding and light-demanding plant, a minimum of 18-20 degrees is required for optimal development. It does not tolerate dry air so well, preferring a humid environment. The soil should always be moist, but avoid overwatering, especially in winter. Let the shoots grow to 6-8 pairs of leaves, then prune them back. We can wire at any time of the year. In the summer, we can put it outside in a semi-shaded or filtered light place. In winter, keep it around 12-15 ̊C, because it needs a rest period. If we keep it in warmer places than this, it needs as much more light and maybe you will neccesary plant growing lamp in wintertime.
Transplant the trees every two years, in Akadama+peat mixture or Frux bonsai soil. For nutrient replenishment, we recommend Biogold or BonsaiMaster during the growth period (spring to autumn). Without nutrient supply, flowering and small berry fruits may fail.
