Pinus parviflora, commonly known as Japanese white pine. When caring for White Pine bonsai, it is important to take care to provide a very bright outdoor space for the plant, well-drained bonsai soil, even watering and not too nitrogen-rich fertilization. Caring for White Pine planted in bonsai bowls is basically not too complicated. During the growing season (from time to time) we provide it with manure, which may be liquid or solid. Fish emulsion medium is especially recommended for pines. When watering, keep it evenly moist. It is important to use well-drained soils like Kiryuzuna+Akadama+Pumice mixed with a little activated carbon. In winter it is important to take care of wintering the plant. Even so, keep it in a bright place, using natural coverings to protect the root ball from freezing (Straw or mulch). The branches of the Pinus are very flexible, giving them more creative freedom in wiring than other species. The bonsai wire can be left on the plant for a long time as the growth of the White pine is slower. this leaves the branches flexible for a long time. If we get rid of the wires too early, the branches of  Pinus will slowly return to their original position.
