Acer buergerianum, Trident maple that is a popular piece of bonsai exhibits. The solid trunk and appearance of the tree bears the hallmarks of the sumo style. Raising it for beginner bonsai people is no problem either.
This type of tree has a strong root system and bears the pruning very well, it is worth examining from the spring. When watering, make sure that the soil is always kept moist. Water requirements are lower than other Japanese maples, they don’t like too much water. A winter-hardy plant that can withstand colder weather conditions.
