Euonymus alatus, commonly known as Burning bush shohin in size category. A popular shrub for its spectacular autumn foliage and beautiful, colorful crop. Slow-growing, slightly serrated foliage that feels good in a sunny or semi-shady place. In winter, the plant can be overwintered in unheated conditions. In this case, you do not need light as you sleep, but you need to water every two weeks. In case of outdoor wintering, it is necessary to protect the tree and the root system with a natural covering material, such as straw, mulch or possibly leaves. Its spring flowering is a mild but extremely lovely sight. The plant prefers abundant irrigation, but it is only suitable for loose and well-drained soils. Transplanting bonsai is recommended in the spring, and Akadama is an ideal planting medium. During the growing season, the use of organic fertilizers such as Biogold or BonsaiMaster feeds or liquid fertilizers such as Bio-Green nutrient solution is strongly recommended.
