Fraxinus griffithi, commonly known as Himalayan ash or Evergreen ash in moyogi style. This tree has planted in chinese shuhozan bonsai pot. Ash can grow and bloom optimally in full sun or partial shade. The leaves are brighter, shiny green at the top, with tiny silvery "hairs" at the bottom. In the hottest weeks of summer, shade is recommended in the afternoon or early afternoon. Temperate ash species in temperate climates should only be protected from stronger frost if they are planted in bonsai pots, while some ashes from warmer climates should be kept in the coldhouse in winter. The ash bonsai tree is thoroughly watered abundantly if the soil dries out. It does not like prolonged drought or constant moisture. A well-drained soil is essential for planting, so choose Akadama + Kiryu. Organic fertilizer of suitable quality for growth use in solid or even liquid form recommended. BonsaiMaster or Bio-Green liquid nutrient solution or Japanese-made Biogold nutrient cube may be suitable. It requires less water in the winter, but we should not let it dry out even then. Ash has no special water quality requirements, so rainwater and most tap water can be used during irrigation. The ash grows and thickens very quickly and requires frequent pruning to increase the number of branches. The best time to prune larger branches is late fall. Wiring Fraxinus in the fall or winter is recommended.
