Indoor bonsai with air roots - 80 cm high Ficus retusa 'Taiwan':

Big size and proportionate ficus with a spectacular trunk of bonsai. In addition to a compact, rich branch system and a curved (twisted) trunk, strong air roots are paired - giving the plant an extremely old-fashioned effect.

It is an easy-to-keep plant, typical of ficus, and its maintenance does not require any serious expertise. The style of the plant clearly bears the notes of Asian bonsai - not only an exotic, but also a pleasant-looking ornamental plant.

It is advisable to place it in a particularly bright place and water it regularly. At least every two years, repotting it into fresh soil and feed it regularly. From the end of spring to the end of summer we can keep it outdoors, in which case it can get very strong and achieve a very strong green color with the canopy.
