Tillandsia espinosae: It used to belong to the genus Vriesea. It lives in Ecuador and Peru, occurs in dry shrubs and forests as an epiphytic plant at an altitude of 200-900 meters. Those living in Ecuador are growing much larger than Peruvians. The plant has an ash green leaf rosette and stiff leaves. The inflorescence is red and the flowers are purple. It is a well-sprouting species, after flowering it grows several shoots at the same time on a long woody stem. She likes sunny bright places, she likes a drier climate. In the summer in the heat, every other day can be watered. In winter, watering once a week is recommended in a room with a temperature of 18-22 ⁰C.
