Tillandsia mitlaensis var. tulensis: Native to the state of Oaxaca in Mexico at an altitude of 1750 meters. This is a rarer form of mitlaensis, its leaves grow in a more rosette form. It has a lithophytic lifestyle, which means that it grows on its natural habitat, rocks, and forms large colonies there. The whole plant is silvery in color, likes a lot of sunlight and also tolerates drought well. In winter, it can withstand 5-10 degrees Celsius dry. Its inflorescence is long, straight, sword-like and pink. The flowers grow one by one, purple and tubular.
