Tillandsia tricholepis: Homeland Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Parguaya, grows on trees and rocks. It is a member of the subgenus Diaphorenthema. Tiny plant with tiny yellow flowers. It is a self-pollinating species and therefore produces many seeds. It adapts well to changing conditions, is easy to keep and easy to breed. It likes a lot of light, but also tolerates lower light conditions well. If it is put out in the summer, it develops better, in which case daily watering is recommended. Even in winter, it requires watering every 2-3 days, making sure it is no longer wet in the evening. It is between 12 and 32 ⁰C for the ideal temperature.
