Bulbophyllum helenae can be found in China, Nepal, Sikkim, Myanmar and Thailand they grow in montane forests at elevation of 800-2700 meters.
Bulbophyllum helenae is a small sized epiphyte or lithophyte orchid. They flower in late spring or summer on a 5-7.5 cm long inflorescence carrying 5-9 stinky flowers. The flowers are yellowish green with red dots.
Bulbophyllum helenae requiers shade, high humidity and regular watering and fertilizing during whole year. Always use orchid fertilizer.
