Shohin bonsai is a concept in bonsai culture. It primarily refers to a size category (if you approach it from a practical point of view). A shohin bonsai can be up to 20cm high from the edge of the bonsai bowl, but in some cases it can reach 25cm. These are the so-called semi-handled bonsai, which are the same as their larger counterparts in any style and gardening need.
