Tillandsia aeranthos- on Elm branch:
Distribution areas: Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina; where it occurs up to an altitude of 0-200m. Its leaves are stiff, bright green; in inflorescence the upper leaves are pink and the flowers themselves are purple. The plant produces small shoots below the lower level, the colony thus formed is approximately 30 cm wide. It is an easily flowering species that prefers a drier climate.
